A Las Vegas eye doctor bilked dozens of patients by advertising licensed laser vision surgery that he never delivered, according to a lawsuit filed this week. In the lawsuit, which seeks class-action status, plaintiffs claim that Dr. Vikas Jain and his wife, Dr. Anamika Jain failed to provide the advertised flat rate fee for the procedure or to use board certified ophthalmologists, another claim allegedly made in advertisements. Dr. Vikas Jain has been the subject of at least 17 malpractice lawsuits and is not licensed to practice medicine in Nevada, according to reports.
