A former military surgeon accused of falsifying medical research received more than $780,000 from Medtronic between 2001 and 2009, according to information released on Wednesday by the company. Federal prosecutors on Tuesday indicted a medical device maker and four of its executives on charges that they illegally tested and promoted a bone filler for unapproved uses.
